Flue Type Low-Water-Pressure Start-up Gas Water Heater \u2014 Starts from 0.01 MPa

A flue type gas water heater built for buildings where the water pressure is too weak for a standard unit. Lights up from 0.01 MPa \u2014 that covers most rooftop-tank and low-mains installs in South Asia, the Middle East and parts of Latin America. Atmospheric burner, battery ignition.

About This Series

Low-Water-Pressure Flue Type Gas Water Heater

Most mechanical modulation gas water heaters need 0.03–0.06 MPa to start. In markets where water comes from a rooftop tank or a weak municipal supply, especially for high buildings during the peak water usage period, that threshold is too high — so the unit can’t be activated. This line drops the threshold to 0.01 MPa, which roughly doubles the number of buildings a flue type unit can serve. Atmospheric burner, no fan, battery ignition — same simple internals as the standard flue type.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum water pressure to start?
0.01 MPa — That covers rooftop-tank supply and most low-mains situations.
Will it work with a rooftop water tank?
Yes. If the tank is at least 2 metres above the unit, the static pressure is enough to start the heater. No booster pump needed.
Can I use it with normal mains pressure?
Yes. It will simply start more reliably than a standard unit. There is no downside to running it on high-pressure supply.
Does it need electricity?
No. Battery ignition only — one pair of AA batteries half a year on average.
Is the price higher than standard flue type?
Please consult the prices with our sales person.
